The Blood Collection Tube Mold is a multi-cavity injection molding solution for producing vacuum blood collection tube bodies, standard blood collection tube bodies, laboratory test tubes and similar transparent tubular parts. It can be developed for PET, PP, PS and other materials after the product geometry, material grade and molding requirements are reviewed. Customer samples, 2D drawings or 3D models may be used as the design basis.
Cavity quantity is customized according to required output, product dimensions and the available injection molding machine. A hot runner system is used, while the detailed gating, cooling, venting and demolding solutions are evaluated for the tube structure and selected resin. These design decisions are intended to support consistent filling, transparent appearance, dimensional stability and reliable release without assigning unconfirmed fixed process values.
S136 and other appropriate mold steels can be considered according to polishing, corrosion-resistance, production-volume and service-life requirements. The final steel grade, heat treatment, hardness and surface finish are defined in the approved quotation and technical documents. Mold life is affected by steel selection, manufacturing process, operating conditions and maintenance, and is therefore confirmed on a project basis.
The suitable injection molding machine is assessed from mold dimensions, mold weight, shot capacity, tie-bar spacing, platen size and production requirements. The expected lead time is 40–60 days, subject to design approval, purchased components, manufacturing complexity and mold-trial arrangements.
