The Manhole Cover Mold uses a matched upper-and-lower compression structure and can be engineered according to the product profile, dimensions, anti-slip texture, installation method and load requirement. Physical samples, 2D drawings or 3D models may be supplied, and round covers, square covers, drainage gratings, inspection covers and electrical utility covers can all be customized.
Common steel options include heat-treated 45#, heat-treated P20, pre-hardened 718H and other suitable grades. Steel selection may be adjusted according to production volume, surface requirements, expected mold life and project budget. Each grade offers a different balance of strength, hardness, wear resistance, machinability and maintenance cost, with the final steel and heat-treatment solution subject to the approved technical requirements.
Electric heating, oil heating and related temperature-control systems are available. This type of SMC/BMC manhole cover mold normally has no cooling system. Heating power, zones, sensor locations and control methods are determined according to product size, material system and molding cycle.
