Product Details
A Pallet Mold is a large injection mold developed for plastic pallets used in warehousing, logistics, forklift handling and automated conveying. Depending on the pallet structure, dimensions, material, load requirements and the customer's production equipment, the mold can be customized for grid pallets, flat-top pallets, single-sided pallets, double-sided pallets and other pallet series. Customer samples, 2D drawings or 3D models can be used as the design basis. Product ribs, fork-entry areas, demolding conditions and injection-machine parameters are reviewed during engineering evaluation.
Suitable mold steel such as 718H may be selected according to product geometry, production volume and project requirements. The final steel and heat-treatment solution is subject to technical confirmation. A hot-runner or cold-runner system can be recommended after evaluating product weight, flow length and molding requirements. Water cooling and other suitable cooling arrangements can be designed with multiple circuits to improve temperature uniformity and stable molding across the large tool area.
Cavity quantity, mold dimensions, mold weight and target mold life are customized for each project. The required injection-machine clamping force, shot capacity, tie-bar spacing, platen dimensions and opening stroke are recommended after the product and mold design have been evaluated. The normal lead time for a custom Pallet Mold is approximately 40–60 days, subject to design approval, mold complexity and trial requirements.
