Basic Concepts Of Precision Injection Molds

A precision injection mold is a device used to form precision products by injecting molten resin into a metal mold cavity under high pressure, followed by cooling and solidification. Its primary objective is to ensure product dimensional tolerances; generally, the mold's dimensional tolerance is required to be controlled within one-third of the product's dimensional tolerance. Products manufactured using precision injection molds exhibit extremely high dimensional accuracy-often better than 0.01 mm-and can maintain stability within the 0.01–0.001 mm range in high-end applications.

A precision injection mold is a device used to form precision products by injecting molten resin into a metal mold cavity under high pressure, followed by cooling and solidification. Its core structure comprises the main runner, branch runners, gates, and a cooling/temperature control system, while the molding process encompasses stages such as injection, holding, cooling, and ejection.
